La purga

Semana dura en el mundo de las series, ya que se están confirmando las renovaciones y cancelaciones. Hay tantas series que no van a volver, que me he pregunto qué estarán planeando hacer con todo el tiempo libre que van a tener. Aunque ha habido sorpresas, la mayoría de las series de las que hablo en el blog tenían el futuro claro, así que aquí están los resultados de la purga.

Hard week in the world of series, as the renewals and the cancellations are being confirmed. There are so many series that are not coming back, that I wonder what are they planning to do with all the free time they will have.  Although there have been surprises, most of the series I talk about in the blog had a certain future, so here are the results of the purge.

Empecemos con la NBC, que ha cancelado una de sus nuevas series para este año, Go On. Matthew Perry no volverá el año que viene, pero al menos, la primera y única temporada tuvo un final suficientemente bueno. Por otro lado, la NBC ha confirmado que Community tendrá quinta temporada. ¿QUÉEE? ¡SÍ! ¡Community volverá! Estamos más cerca del Seis Temporadas y una Película.

Let's start with the NBC, that have cancelled one of its new series for this year, Go On. Matthew Perry won't be coming back next year, but at least, the first and only season had a finale good enough. On the other hand, the NBC have confirmed that Community will have a fifth season. WHAAT? YES!!!!! Community will be coming back! We are closer to the Six Seasons and a Movie.

Aparte de las que ya sabíamos que iban a volver (Arrow, Bones, Cómo Conocí a Vuestra Madre, New Girl y The Big Bang Theory) otras que ahora han sido confirmadas son Defiance, Modern Family, Érase Una Vez y Revolution. Por cierto, una series que estoy segura que todos hemos visto en algún momento, CSI Nueva York, ha sido cancelada.

Apart from the ones we already knew that were coming back (Arrow, Bones, How I Met Your Mother, New Girl and The Big Bang Theory) others that have now been confirmed are Defiance, Modern Family, Once Upon a Time and Revolution. By the way, a series I'm sure we have all seen at some point, CSI New York, has been cancelled. 

Y por último, la ABC ha confirmado una nueva serie, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, una serie sobre la agencia ficticia en los cómics de Marvel que verá a Clark Gregg retomando su papel del agente Coulson. Aparentemente la serie tiene lugar después de los sucesos en Los Vengadores, así que hay unas cuantas preguntas habrá que responder...

And finally, the ABC has confirmed a new series, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, a series about the fictional agency in the Marvel comics that will see Clark Gregg reprising the role of agent Coulson. Apparently the series will be set after the events in The Avengers, so there are a few questions they will have to answer...
