El jardín de series: Comic-Con 2013

Como todos los años, la Comic-Con de San Diego ha llegado con sus paneles, sus anuncios y sus trailers, así que voy a hacer un repaso por las noticias y avances de algunas series de las que hablo en el blog.

As every year, San Diego Comic-Con has arrived with its panels, its announcements and its trailers, so I'll do a review on the news and the previews of some of the series I talk about in the blog.

Empiezo con Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., cuyo piloto se mostró en la Comic-Con. Aquellos que tuvieron la suerte de verlo dicen que fue genial y que supera con mucho sus expectativas. Además, Cobie Smulders (Robin en CCAVM) vuelve en el piloto como Maria Hill, el personaje que interpretó en Los Vengadores. La serie tiene previsto el estreno el 24 de Septiembre.

Let's start with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. whose pilot episode was shown in the Comic-Con. Those lucky enough to see it claim it was awesome and far more of what they expected. Also, Cobie Smulders (Robin in HIMYM) comes back in it as Maria Hill, the character she played in The Avengers. The series is set to premiere on September 24.

La gente de Arrow han sido más generosos, y mostraron nuevas imágenes de la segunda temporada. En esa imágenes podemos ver algunos de los nuevos miembros del elenco, incluyendo a Summer Glau como una mujer que intenta quitarle a Oliver la empresa familiar. Arrow vuelve el 9 de Octubre.

People from Arrow were more generous, and they showed some new images from season 2. In that new footage we can see some of the new members of the cast, including Summer Glau as a woman who tries to take the family enterprise from Oliver. Arrow will be back October the 9th.

Aunque la primera temporada de Defiance fue perdiendo fuerza conforme pasaban los capítulos, tendrá una segunda temporada que se estrenará en Junio de 2014. Hasta entonces, en la Comic-Con pudimos ver algunas escenas para ir abriendo boca.

Even when de first season of Defiance lost a little bit with each episode, it will have a second season that will premiere on June 2014. Until then, new footage was shown at the Comic-Con to tease us.

Juego de Tronos también tuvo un panel, en el que estuvieron muchos de los actores. Antes de la Comic-Con se había confirmado que Pedro Pascal interpretará a Oberyn Martell "La Víbora Roja" en la cuarta temporada, y que Mark Gatiss también tendrá un papel, aunque todavía se desconoce cual. Hay rumores de que la cuarta temporada se estrenará el 30 de Marzo. Sin imágenes nuevas que mostrar, nos tenemos que conformar con este vídeo In Memoriam.

Game of Thrones had a panel too, with lot of the actors being there. Previous to the Comic-Con it was confirmed that Pedro Pascal will be playing Oberyn Martell "The Red Viper" in season four, and that Mark Gatiss will also have a role, although so far is unknown which will it be. Rumours has it that season four will premiere March 30. With no new footage to show, we have to content with this In Memoriam video.

Por primera vez la gente de Cómo Conocí a Vuestra Madre fue a la Comic-Con, y gracias a eso podemos ver este vídeo en el que los hijos de Ted dicen en alto lo que todos hemos estado pensando. La novena temporada empezará el 23 de Septiembre con un episodio de una hora.

For the first time the guys of How I Met Your Mother went to the Comic-Con, and thanks to that we can watch a video in which Ted's kids say out loud what we have all been thinking. Season 9 will begin 23th of September with an hour-long episode.

El año pasado, nos enteramos de que el Capitán Garfio iba a estar en Érase Una Vez gracias a un pequeño teaser en el que realmente no vimos su cara. Bueno, pues adivinad quién viene para la tercera temporada que es estrena el 29 de Septiembre...

Last year, we learnt Captain Hook was coming to Once Upon a Time thanks to a little teaser in which we didn't actually saw his face. Well, guess who is coming to season 3 when it comes back September 29...

Y el 10 de Octubre verá el comienzo del spin off the EUV, llamado Érase Una Vez en el País de las Maravillas (EUVPM?). No hubo nuevas imágenes en la Comic-Con, aunque se anunció que Naveen Andrews interpretará al malvado Jafar (sí, el de Aladdin).

And October the 10th will mark the beginning of OUAT's spin off, called Once Upon a Time in Wonderland (OUATIW?). Nothing new was shown at the Comic-Con, but it was announced that Naveen Andrews will be playing evil Jafar (yes, the one from Aladdin).

Sí que tenemos nuevas imágenes de Revolution, que aunque todavía no tiene fecha de estreno, a cambiado el día de emisión a los miércoles, en vez de los lunes.

We do have new footage from Revolution, that although it doesn't have a premiere date just yet, it will new be shown on Wednesday, rather than Mondays.

Ni Benedict Cumberbatch ni Martin Freeman pudieron estar en el panel de Sherlock, aunque los dos grabaron un vídeo saludando a los fans. Mientras que Martin aparece todo hobbiteado, Benedict bromea sobre no saber qué está promocionando y... ¡incluso desvela cómo sobrevive Sherlock la caída! (más o menos). La fecha de emisión es todavía un misterio, aunque ahora ya sabemos los nombres de los tres episodios, El Coche Fúnebre Vacío por Mark Gatiss, El Signo de Tres por Stephen Thompson y Su Última Promesa por Steven Moffat. En cuanto a la cuarta temporada, está confirmada, siempre y cuando encuentren tiempo para juntarse y hacerla.

Neither Benedict Cumberbatch nor Martin Freeman could make it to Sherlock's panel, although they both record a video greeting the fans. While Martin looks all hobbited, Benedict jokes about not knowing what is he promoting and... he even says how Sherlock survived the fall!! (kind of). The premier date is still a mystery, although we now know the names of the three episodes, The Empty Hearse by Mark Gatiss, The Sign of Three by Stephen Thompson and His Last Vow by Steven Moffat. As fourth season is confirmed, as long as they find time to get together and make it.
