The Day of the Doctor

Sólo estamos a dos semanas de "el Día del Doctor", el episodio especial 50 Aniversario de Doctor Who, y por fin ya tenemos trailer. Se filtró anoche a través de BBC Entertainment, y aunque la BBC había planeado que se emitiera esta noche, finalmente lo han lanzado esta mañana, visto que ya estaba en todos sitios.

We're only two weeks away from "the Day of the Doctor", Doctor Who 50th Anniversary episode, and finally we got a trailer. It was leaked last night by BBC Entertainment, and even when the BBC had planned for it to be broadcasted tonight, they finally have released it this morning, since it was already everywhere.

En el trailer, además de Matt Smith y Jenna Coleman como el undécimo Doctor y Clara Oswald, podemos ver a John Hurt, a David Tennant como el décimo Doctor y a Billie Piper como Rose, aunque no está claro qué versión de los personajes interpretan. Y Daleks. Y Zygons.

In the trailer, apart from Matt Smith and Jenna Coleman, as the 11th Doctor and Clara Oswald, we can see John Hurt, David Tennant as the 10th Doctor and Billie Piper as Rose, although is not clear which version of their character they'll be playing. And Daleks. And Zygons.

En cuanto a la sinopsis, se reveló hace unos días: "Los Doctores se embarcan en su mayor aventura en este especial 50 aniversario. En 2013, algo terrible se está despertando en la National Gallery de Londres, en 1562, una sanguinaria conspiración está en marcha en la Inglaterra isabelina; y en algún lugar del espacio una antigua batalla alcanza su conclusión fatal. Toda la realidad está en juego cuando el pasado del propio Doctor vuelve para atormentarlo."

As for the plot, it was revealed a few days ago: "The Doctors embark on their greatest adventure in this 50th anniversary special. In 2013, something terrible is awakening in London’s National Gallery; in 1562, a murderous plot is afoot in Elizabethan England; and somewhere in space an ancient battle reaches its devastating conclusion. All of reality is at stake as the Doctor’s own dangerous past comes back to haunt him."
