"¡Pero la sexta temporada terminó hace semanas!" podrías decir. Sí, pero yo me refiero a un final más definitivo. Y eso es porque la HBO ha anunciado que la séptima temporada de True Blood, que se emitirá el próximo verano, será la última. Así que vamos a echarlo un vistazo a dónde nos dejó esta sexta temporada. Yes, but I mean a more final goodbye. And that's because the HBO has announced that the seventh season of True Blood, that will be shown next summer, will be the last. So let's take a look at where the sixth season left us. [Spoilers ahead]

Este temporada han pasado menos cosas en Bon Temps, lo que para mí es algo bueno. En anteriores temporadas con todas las cosas que pasaban al mismo tiempo a veces se hacía demasiado pesado. Así que esta temporada han matado a Terry, y no ha pasado nada importante con Lafayette o Arlene. Lo "único" que ha pasado en el pueblo ha sido Sam cuidando a la hija de Luna y las hijas hada de Andy. Y en esa parte de la historia hubo algo que disfruté y algo que odié.
This season there have been less things going on in Bon Temps, which for me is a good thing. Previous seasons with all those things going on at the same time where a bit too much. So this season they kill off Terry, and nothing important happened with Lafayette or Arlene. The "only" thing going on in the village was Sam looking after Luna's daughter and Andy's faeries children. And in that part of the story there was one I really enjoyed and one I hated.
Me encantó todo lo que tuvo que ver con Andy, Jess y las niñas hada de crecimiento rápido. Desde el Sheriff intentando lidiar con todos los bebés hasta la crisis que sufre Jess cuando ocurre lo peor. En cuanto a Terry, aunque no era algo que me esperase, no me afectó demasiado.
I loved everything that had to do with Andy, Jess and the fast-growing faerie girls. From the Sheriff trying to deal with all those babies to the crisis Jess suffers when the worst happens. As for Terry, it wasn't something I expected, but it didn't feel too wrong.
Por otro lado he odiado a Alcide. Empezó como el gran lobo feroz y terminó como un cachorrito que volvía a salir con Sookie. Apenas duró como el jefe de la manada y su padre desapareció después de unos pocos capítulos. En mi opinión, podrían haber hecho más con el personaje.
On the other hand, I've hated Alcide. He started as a big bad wolf and ended up like a puppy dating Sookie. He barely lasted as the pack master and his father disappeared after just a few episodes. In my opinion, they could have done a lot more with his character.
En Bon Temps también hemos conocido a Warlow, el malo de esta temporada que, en mi opinión, ha sido bastante blando. Igual que el abuelo que viene y va. Quizás si no lo hubieran matado... Pero parece que está bastante muerto, así que no hay posibilidades de que vuelva la próxima temporada para reclamar a Sookie.
In Bon Temps we've also met Warlow, this season's baddie who, in my opinion, has been a little bit soft. Just like the grandfather that comes and goes. Maybe if they hadn't killed him... But he seems to be pretty much dead, so no option of him returning next season to reclaim Sookie.
En cuanto a Billith, al final ha salido bien. Ni demasiado, ni demasiado poco. Con el resto de vampiros teniendo la cantidad justa de importancia. Probablemente, la parte de la historia que más he disfrutado.

As for Billith, it turned up just about right. Not too much, not too little. With the rest of the vampires having just the right amount of importance. Probably, the part of the story I've enjoyed the most.

Especialmente con los vampiros zombies que aparecieron al final del último capítulo. De hecho, si tenemos suerte, puede que incluso maten a Sookie. Además, viendo que Sam se ha convertido en Alcalde de la noche a la mañana, ¡al final de la próxima temporada podría ser Congresista! ¡O incluso Presidente! En cualquier caso, haced una lista de vuestros personajes favoritos y rezad porque no estén en la lista "para matar" de los guionistas. Oh, y mención especial para Steve Newlin, por tener la mejor muerte de la historia.

In fact, if we are lucky, they may even kill Sookie off. Also, seeing that Sam became Mayor overnight, at the end of next season he could be Congressman! Or even the President! Anyhow, make a list of your favourite characters, and pray for them not to be on the writers "to kill" list. Oh, and a special mention to Steve Newlin, for having the best death ever.
