Pues bien, a continuación os recomiendo cuatro series que, aunque no son nuevas, quizás no conocíais y que os mantendrán entretenidos en verano.

Una serie de la BBC basada en unas novelas que se centran en Jackson Brodie, ex-policía reconvertido a detective privado y que en la serie es interpretado por Jason Isaacs. En la serie también aparece Amanda Abbigton como una policía ex-compañera de Brodi. La serie transcurre en la ciudad escocesa de Edimburgo, y en cada capítulo Brodie se ve envuelto en distintas situaciones que se van entrelazando entre sí en mayor o menor medida.

Otra serie británica, esta de la cadena Channel 4, protagonizada por Chris O'Dowd, Richard Ayoade y Katherine Parkinson. La serie se desarrolla en el departamento de informática de una empresa ficticia londinense, donde envían a una recién llegada que no tiene ni idea de informática y que se tendrá que adaptar a los frikis que trabajan allí.

De la HBO es esta serie que sigue a Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier), un actor revelación neoyorquino que se muda a Hollywood junto con sus amigos de la infancia Eric (Kevin Connolly) y Tortuga (Jerry Ferrara) y su hermano mayor Johnny Drama (Kevin Dillon) también actor, aunque menos exitoso. En la serie vemos sus altibajos tanto cinematográficos como personales, mientras su agente Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven) intenta convertirlo en una súper estrella.

Veep
Otra comedia de la HBO, esta inspirada en la británica "The Thick of It". En la serie nos adentramos en la oficina de la Vicepresidenta de los E.E.U.U., Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), que después de estrellarse en su carrera a la Presidencia, tiene que hacer frente a ocupar un cargo que no tiene tanto peso como a ella le gustaría, además de tener que lidiar con un personal que en ocasiones roza lo incompetente.
Another HBO comedy, this one inspired by the British "The Thick of It". In the series we get into the office of the Vicepresident of the US, Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), who after crashing in the career to the Presidency, has to face a position that doesn't have the importance she would like, as well as handling a staff that sometimes verges on the incompetent.
